BSY to visit Dharmasthala temple

BANGALORE: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will offer special pooja at Sri Manjunatha temple in Dharmasthala on Sunday. “It is a routine thanks-giving pooja and has no special political significance be attached to it. He underwent a thorough medical check-up in a city hospital as well as in Mumbai recently after which he wanted to visit the temple-town,” a top party leader told Express on Saturday. BJP sources said Yeddyurappa would fly from the city to Mangalore in the morning and travel to Dharmasthala by road. Yeddyurappa will travel from Dharmasthala to his constituency of Shikaripura on Sunday evening and return to Bangalore on Tuesday morning.
