Bulu Roy, 4 others hurt in car accident

Bulu Roy Chawdhary, widow of CPI leader CK Chandrappan, three Mahila Sangham leaders and the car driver were injured when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a tractor near Venjarammood here on Saturday.  

The car was hit by the tractor which was coming from a byroad at Keezhayikkonam. Among those injured were Mahila Sangham state working president Indira Raveendran, dist secretary P Beena and state committee member Vasanthakumari and car driver Chandran.

They were admitted at Gokulam Medical College.
