Case against Yediyur corporator

BANGALORE: A Congress party worker filed an assault case against BBMP Yediyur ward corporator N R Ramesh and his supporters in Banashankari police station. According to the police, a regional TV channel had hosted a discussion programme at Padmanabhanagar Grounds on Wednesday. Public and workers of various political parties had gathered for the programme. Suddenly, BJP and Congress workers engaged in a heated argument which led to fist cuffs. Following the incident, Venkatesh, a Congress party worker, filed a complaint against Ramesh and his supporters of assaulting him and others. Banashankari police registered a case.
