KOCHI: The CBI has announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh against two army men involved in the brutal murder of an unwed mother and her twin children in Kollam in 2006. The accused were Divil Kumar B, 28, son of G. Bahuleyan Pillai, Kochumadathil Veedu, (Chandra Vilasam), Alayamon PO., Anchal, Kollam, and Rajesh P, 33, son of Kunhikannan Nambiar, Puthussery House, Koottumugham PO, Sreekandapuram, Kannur. The duo brutally murdered Ranjini, 24, and her twin children aged 17 days on February 10, 2006 at their rented house at Eram, Anchal, by inflicting injuries to their neck with a sharp-edged weapon. The accused are absconding ever since the murder. Both of them were serving 45 AD Army Regiment at Pathankot. Divil Kumar is tall, well-built and has a fair complexion. His identification marks: A black mole 4 cm, below medial 1/3 right clavicle and a black mole on mid 1/3 left clavicle. Rajesh P is of medium height, normal built & wheatish. Identification marks: Black mole on left forearm inner aspect and raised black mole on back neck.
