Bangalore: A 10-member CBI team has inspected the properties of Reddy brothers on Wednesday.
The CBI team has also inspected the controversial mining areas on the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border on Tuesday.
The team has inspected the Obalapuram mines owned by tourism minister G Janardhan Reddy.
The CBI is now looking at the possibility of surveying the other Karnataka mines owned by him.
The Reddy brothers have been under the scanner ever since a central empowered committee report indicted them over mining irregularities.
The apex court's Central Empowered Committee (CEC) had reported that the company owned by Karnataka Tourism Minister G Janardhan Reddy was carrying out illegal mining of iron ore along the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border.
The CEC had recommended that all mining activity in the area be stopped.
