BELLARY: Close on the heels of raids on the residence of former Karnataka minister and mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy’s aides, CBI sleuths on Sunday conducted a surprise raid on the office of Obalapuram Mining Company (OMC), which is owned by Janardhana Reddy, now in judicial custody in Hyderabad.CBI sleuths, who visited the OMC office in the wee hours, opened the office with the help of private security guards, inspected the premises and seized a few hard discs, CDs and documents in their presence.The raid, which started at 6am and lasted for over two hours, fetched the central investigating agency important documents, apart from hard discs of all computers in the office. The office situated in Avembavi on Siruguppa Road, was almost closed, ever since former tourism minister Janardhana Reddy was arrested on September 5 along with his brother-in-law and OMC managing director B V Srinivasa Reddy.
