THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dr CP Aravindakshan will inaugurate the ‘Chemical Magic Fest & 92nd PPC’ on Saturday at 10 am at the Magic Academy, Poojappura. The programme is being organised by the Magic Academy.Well-known chemical magician U P Kunjabdulla will lead a class on ‘Vismayathanthrangal’ from 10.15 am onwards.Several magicians will participate in a debate on the topic ‘The role of chemistry in the science of magic’, which will begin at 2 pm. This would be followed by a magic competition in the junior and senior sections at 3 pm.Playback singer Pandalam Balan will inaugurate the concluding meeting at 4 pm. Gopinath Muthukad, executive director of Magic Academy and Chandrasenan Mithrmala, director, Magic Academy, will also be present on the occasion. The event will end with a ‘Gala show’ by Kunjabdulla and winners of the competitions at 4.30 pm.
