BHUBANESWAR: Strongly condemning the killing of an Odia student in the US, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday took up the matter with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Naveen spoke to External Affairs Minister S M Krishna, who is now at Madrid, about the murder of K Seshadri Rao, a young Odia student, at Boston.Seshadri (24) was pursuing an MBA degree in mathematical finance (treasury management) at Boston University School of Management. He was reportedly shot dead by an unidentified assailant at Aliston Street on Thursday night.Meanwhile, a day after learning that their son, Seshadri, was killed in Boston, the Rao family in Jeypore is yet to come to terms with reality. The shocking news came even as his parents were excited to welcome Seshadri back home next month when he would have completed his 18-month course.
