If any mistake was committed by the past Congress government, the present government was ready to tender an unconditional apology to the people of the state and would rectify all such mistakes, he said. Venkata Rao said the chief minister took the decision to review the land allotments in state in tune with land acquisition bill which is going to be introduced by the Centre in the current session of Parliament. The bill would protect government lands and give security to the farming community, he claimed.Meanwhile, Kisan and Kheth Mazdoor Congress state unit chairman M Kodanda Reddy has submitted a report through the PCC to the UPA government on addressing several issues in proposed land bill.He said agricultural lands should not be utilised for promotion of industrialisation. All land issues should be settled at the village level itself.Kodanda Reddy said that if the new bill became an Act, it would give social security to all the farmers of the country.
