Complaint filed against KMF President

BELLARY: Bellary MLA and KMF president G Somashekhar Reddy has been accused of threatening an official over phone. Chairman of Bellary Urban Development Authority (BUDA) D Vinodkumar filed a complaint with the police that the MLA and his followers threatened him with dire consequences for campaigning for BJP candidate P Gadhilingappa.He added that some “goondas” of Reddy allegedly followed him for most of Wednesday. Vinodkumar has also filed a complaint with the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer A A Biswas in this regard. Meanwhile, as many as 145 voters whose names went missing from the electoral rolls in Bandhihatti area in Bellary, on Wednesday, went on the offensive and raised slogans. District Election Officer A A Biswas had to intervene and console these voters.
