HYDERABAD: The vacillation by Telangana Congress and Telugu Desam MLAs on submitting their resignations once again only shows how sincere they are to the cause of statehood, K Dileep Kumar, MLC, has said.“When they resigned earlier they did not do it out of conviction but under pressure from people. That explains their vacillation over resigning again in the wake of the rejection of their resignations by the Assembly speaker,’’ he told reporters at the Assembly media point here on Monday.Dileep Kumar said statehood for Telangana would become a reality only if all the political parties in the region came together by setting aside their respective “genda and agenda”. He appealed to Telangana political JAC convener M Kodandaram to strive to bring all political parties under one umbrella instead of working with some parties (such as TRS and BJP).Telangana Congress MLAs had fallen into the trap laid by AICC general secretary and in-charge of AP affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad, he said and claimed that the present Congress government in the state had fallen into ‘minority’ since several ruling party MLAs from the Seemandhra region were sailing with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSR Congress and those of Telangana region were treading their own path.As such, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had no moral right to continue in the post and should resign immediately, he demanded.
