Melbourne: Indian shooters don't seem to miss anything these days.
While Monday was the golden day with the shooting contingent bagging eight medals , Tuesday, too, began on a great note.
Gagan Narang has also won gold in the 10 metres Men Air Rifle event taking India's gold medal tally to 14.
His partner in the doubles, Abhinav Bindra, bagged bronze in the same event.
Sharp-shooter Samresh Jung, too, won his fifth gold in the Games in men's Free Pistol event.
After having won three golds and one silver earlier, Jung looks certain to bring home a rich haul.
On Monday, Jung paired with Jaspal Rana and bagged gold in the Men's 25 meter center fire pistol event.
Out of the 13 golds that India has won, 10 have come from the shooting contingent alone.
India has a 26-member shooting team, a mix of youth and experience, including Olympic silver medallist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
India and Australia are expected to corner most of the 40 shooting gold medals on offer at the Games.
Of the 40 gold medals on offer in four different events, India are tipped to grab about 25 medals including 15 gold in the men's and women's events.
In other matches lined up for the day, India faces Malaysia in the women's hockey tournament.
India needs to beat Malaysia to qualify for the second semi finals.
The team will take to the field with confidence riding high on Monday’s win against Nigeria.
