Deogarh BJD rallies round Naveen

DEOGARH: A day after Deogarh BJD MLA Sanjib Pradhan was shown entering the house of MP Pyarimohan Mohapatra in private news channels, he announced his support for party supremo Naveen Patnaik.Sensing trouble, Deogarh BJD workers and Pradhan clarified at a press conference on Thursday that they reposed full confidence in Naveen’s leadership and the entire district organisation was behind him.Sources said Pradhan had clarified his position to senior BJD leaders at Naveen Niwas on Wednesday night.“Pyari was his mentor and had handpicked Pradhan. Even then Pradhan preferred not to antagonise Naveen and took a clever decision by going to Naveen Niwas and  clarifying his position,” a political observer said.
