CHENNAI: DMK MLA J Anbazhagan was evicted out of the House on Tuesday for defying Speaker D Jayakumar who asked the legislator to be seated and not disrupt proceedings.When AIADMK member JCD Prabhakaran referred to DMK leader MK Stalin, Anbazhagan strongly objected to it and wanted to know why the former deputy chief minister was being called by his name.While Anbazhagan was supported by his colleagues and continued to demand an explanation from the Speaker, those from the treasury benches shouted the DMK members down.Speaker D Jayakumar repeatedly warned Anbazhagan to resume his seat as he had been given sufficient time to speak. As he continued to be on his feet, Jayakumar asked the marshalls to evict the DMK member out of the House. Shouting slogans, other DMK members staged a walk out.Earlier, Anbazhagan wanted to know if the State’s Below Poverty Line (BPL) people was only seven lakh as the government had said that seven lakh people would be given goats and cows.Finance Minister O Panneerselvam referring to the 2011-12 budget said 60,000 milch cows and 28 lakh goats would be given to seven lakh families.
