Failed NTR Varsity meedicos stage protest

VIJAYAWADA: The second year MBBS Students of Dr NTR Health University of Health Sciences, who had not cleared all the papers, staged a protest here on Wednesday in front of the varsity gate, demanding promotion to the next academic year.It may be recalled that the Medical Council of India (MCI) had framed the norms that students, who failed to clear their subjects, would not be promoted.According to the sources, NTR varsity vice-chancellor, IV Rao, met the protesting students and clarified that promoting them was no more in the hand of the varsity as they had to follow the MCI regulations.
