A father-son duo died after their bike was hit by a speeding truck in Bhadohi, police said on Thursday. The incident took place on Wednesday at Ghosia Bazar and the deceased have been identified as Jagpat (55) and his son Jatashankar (25), they said.

While the youth died on the spot, Jagpat was rushed to a hospital where he died during treatment, police said. Search is on to nab the truck driver, who managed to flee.
