Fire at footwear unit

BANGALORE: A fire broke out at a small footwear unit in Rajagopalanagar on Thursday. The incident reportedly took place around 11.30 am.Raw materials worth Rs 10,000 that were stored to make footwear gutted in the mishap. Five fire tenders rushed to the the spot. Though the exact reason is yet to be ascertained, official from Rajagopalanagar police station suspect that electric short circuit might have caused the mishap.Woman ends lifeA 25-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her house in K Chennasandra on Wednesday. The deceased Bhavya’s parents informed police that she might have taken this extreme step due to health ailments.
