CHENNAI: With 3000 shows to their credit worldwide, the Y’s Men Club of the East presents The Wizard of Oz show, which is a fun re-telling of Frank Baum’s story. Children in the age group of four to 18 can take part as actors and singers in this show which is produced by youngstar2.com and supported by the Australia-India Council, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Government.  Register for  the theater workshop and meet the director of  the  show Brian Laul on August 12 at 6pm at Union Christian Matriculation Higher Secondary School, 33, Nowroji Road, Chetpet, Chennai - 600 031.Asked how “Oz” qualified as inspiration for this popular musical, director Brian Laul says, “Besides having all the ideal elements of fascinating entertainment, it also carries a powerful message of hope so necessary for young people today – that somewhere over the rainbow, you can make your fondest dreams a reality.”The performance will be staged at  Sir Mutha Venkatsubba Rao Concert Hall, Chennai on September 27 and 28.
