VISAKHAPATNAM: Born in Srikakulam, 29yearold Korikana Raja Rama Gandhi, a mathematician in the city aiming to win an International Medal for Outstanding Discoveries in Mathematics, set up a research institute at Tagarapuvalasa in Visakhapatnam and publish an international magazine in mathematics.Gandhi is currently an Editorial Board Member at National University of Singapore.
"I can answer any query in number theory," said Gandhi who has published a monograph on it apart from seven research papers including international papers in physics.Talking to media here on Wednesday, Gandhi said the monograph is the result of his abiding passion for mathematics. The monograph emphasises on recurrence relations popularly known as 'Methods to Madness'. "It can make you fall in love with mathematics," he said. Large number of problems have been discussed in the monograph while solutions are presented in a way that they can benefit researchers, he said.
