Four get life imprisonment in a murder case

A district court here on Monday sentenced four persons to life imprisonment in connection with a murder case three years ago.

Additional District and Sessions court judge Raghvendra Kumar released two others in the same case for lack of evidence.

The four awarded life sentence  were also ordered to pay a penalty of Rs 10,000 each and in the event of failure to pay penalty an additional jail term of one year.

They were given punishment in connection with murder case in Gandhi nagar area in 2010. The victim who was beaten severely on April 2, 2010 had later died in a private hospital in the capital.
