New Delhi: Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who is all set to tie the knot with actress Genelia D'Souza on February 3, says Genelia will continue to act post marriage.
The couple met on the sets of 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' nine years ago and they will be acknowledged as a married couple in a high profile wedding with Bollywood stars in attendance. "I don't think there is any reason why Genelia would have to put her acting assignments on hold. It is entirely her call on how she wants to work in years to come. She is an experienced person and professional, she can make her own decisions," Riteish told PTI.
Refusing to divulge more details about the D-day, the 33-year-old actor said he was always tight-lipped about his relationship with Genelia. "Both of us have been very private about our relationship. We are talking about marriage because it is happening within a week from now, otherwise you wouldn't have ever seen me discussing my personal matters.
"Even though we have decided to speak out now, we aren't very comfortable sharing the most minute details since that is a very private affair," the actor said. Apart from the wedding, Riteish is also busy promoting his forthcoming film 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' with his lady love that will hit theatres on February 24.
"I have been very busy. I am promoting my film 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' and also dubbing for 'Housefull 2'. Then I am also playing in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). To top it up, there are wedding preparation and other plans as well," he said.
