Ghaziabad: A doctor in Ghaziabad's Indirapuram has been accused of sexually harassing a female patient during treatment. The woman complained to her family members about the sexual abuse by the doctor following which they beat up the doctor and later filed a case against him in the police station.
The accused doctor Amrish Tyagi has claimed innocence and filed a police complaint against the woman and her relatives. Dr Tyagi has suffered severe injuries as a result of the beating by the woman's relatives and police say they will act against those who assaulted him.
The woman alleged that when she came to Dr Tyagi's clinic for check up, she was taken inside a room and during the treatment doctor tried to misbehave with her. She then first complained to her husband and her relatives who reached the clinic and beat up the doctor.
On the other hand the doctor says that he was been falsely implicated in the sexual harassment case by the woman and her relatives.
