GITAM plans Malaysia campus

HYDERABAD: GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, is mulling expansion of its operation to Malaysia in the coming years and is looking for collaboration with reputed international universities to set up an offshore campus.Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, GITAM vice-chancellor G Subramanyam said that though discussions were on for the Malaysia extension, nothing has been finalised yet. The university, which announced its admission notification recently, will, for the first time, admit international students from next academic year onwards at its Bangalore campus, the V-C said.The students can opt among six engineering and one management programmes.
