Goleo VI and Pille: Official mascot of 2006 FIFA World Cup
Pille is one of the official mascots, along with Goleo VI, for the Football World Cup 2006 to be held in Germany.

New Delhi: The official mascots for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, unveiled in Leipzig on November 13, 2004, are Goleo VI and Pille.

Goleo VI is a 2.30 metre tall lion while Pille is a speaking football. In colloquial term Pille means football. They are FIFA's first-ever "living" character that can talk, dance, play music and make people laugh.

FIFA and the Organising Committee worked with The Jim Henson Company, to create a character that could be full of life while Gum Studios created Pille.
