KOCHI: The IT sector in Kochi was partially affected by the hartal called by the Left parties and BJP, in protest against the petrol price hike, on Thursday. The Info Park in Kakkanad registered an approximate of 60 percentage attendance.“Most of the companies at Info Park operated on Thursday. The BPO major ACS, which with about 3000 employees, is one of the largest organisations at Info Park declared holiday for the employees on Thursday.Most of the other companies operated more or less normal. Some companies have provided pick up van facilities for employees. The pick up vans operated from different city points like Palarivattom,” said K Kurien of Info Park, Kochi.
