Has Hrithik been offered Rambo 4?
Bollywood has turned into a hot spot for filmmakers across the globe. Hrithik Roshan has reportedly been offered Rambo 4.

New Delhi: Bollywood is slowly turning into a hot-spot for filmmakers across the globe. The list of Indian stars getting plum offers from abroad just got bigger with addition of Hrithik Roshan, who has reportedly been offered Rambo 4.

The fourth sequel in the cult series played by Sylvester Stallone over the years, is likely is to release in 2008. Hrithik, whose musculature stature matches that of Sly Stallone of the 80s, is thought to be perfect for the role.

However Hrthik’s father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan denied having received any such offer. “Hrithik has not been offered this role. But, it is true that offers keep coming from Hollywood producers for him,” Roshan was quoted as saying by a website.

According to sources, Hrithik has been offered the role of an Afghan boy who grew up to be Rambo’s successor.

Rambo Series

First Blood (1982): Sylvester Stallone attempted one of the most dangerous stunts of his lifetime, much to the concern of director Ted Kotcheff. The stunt didn't go as planned and Stallone broke three ribs. This apparently took place on camera and the shot is in the movie.

Rambo: First Blood Part 2 (1985): Rambo returned in this sequel this time in an attempt to free POW's in Vietnam. He returns to his commanders in America that betrayed him and left him to die in Vietnam.

Rambo 3 (1988): In Rambo 3 John Rambo becomes the embodiment of the American cold war commando. After his former commander Colonel Tratman is captured in Soviet held Afghanistan, he moves to free him. Allying himself with Afghan rebels he obliterates any and all Russians that lie in his path. In one scene Rambo literally drives a tank straight at an attack helicopter as its missiles strike all around.
