The 200-hour long ordeal for the three workers trapped inside an under-construction tunnel, which collapsed on September 12, ended on Monday. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) successfully rescued two of the three workers trapped in a tunnel in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district.
The workers have been identified as Mani Ram and Satish Tomar and they have been taken to the Bilaspur government hospital for further treatment.
Three workers had been trapped under debris for nine days after an under-construction tunnel caved in Bilaspur. They were trapped inside tunnel No 4 of Kiratpur-Nerchowk four-lane project on September 12.
