HYDERABAD: The day 11-11-11 (Friday) hailed as auspicious by astrologers hogged mediaspace from almost a fortnight with the rumor mills at work about actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s baby and with numerous predictions about what the day had in store for celebrities.Whether those predictions were accurate or not, many newborns in the city on Friday opened their eyes to the frenzy around them.At the Olive Hospital in Mehdipatnam, Old City residents Tariq Ahmed (30) and his wife Begum celebrated the birth of their son on the auspicious day.“The delivery date given was between November 18 and 19.However, the baby was born much earlier and on the special date of 11.11.11 which also happens to be a Friday.We are overwhelmed,” said Tariq Ahmed, who wants to christen the baby with a name related to the fancy number 11.11.11. At the New Modern Maternity Government Hospital, Suhasini (25) and her husband Ramakrishna (30) rejoiced with the birth of a baby girl along with another woman Ayusha Begum (23) who gave birth to a baby boy this morning.Ramakrishna said that he had not planned for a 11.11.11 baby but felt it was a blessing.
