World No. 3 and second-seed Andy Roddick seems to be getting back into rhythm ahead of the French Open.

New Delhi: Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt and Nikolay Davydenko have gone through to the quarter-finals of the Hypo Group International tournament at Poertschach in Austria.

World No. 3 and second-seed Roddick seems to be getting back into rhythm ahead of the French Open and advanced to the quarters beating Denmark's Kristian Pless in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.

The American blazed through the match firing six aces and dropped only nine points on his serve as Pless had no answer to his opponent’s game.

Roddick will now face Frenchman Gael Monfils in the next round, who beat seventh-seed Hyung-Taik Lee, 7-6 (5), 6-4 in the second round.

Monfils had beaten Roddick in their last meeting on clay at the 2006 Masters Series in Rome.

Hewitt, too, won his match easily against Potito Starace of Italy winning in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.

"You know he's beaten top players on this surface, he's, you know, grown up on this surface and he plays on it most of the year, so for me just to come out and beat him 6-4 6-4, you know, quite convincingly, second round of a tournament is pretty good," Hewitt said after the match.

The fourth seeded Australian, who needed five match points before getting the better of Starace, will next face Argentina's Diego Hartfield in the quarter-finals.

Hartfield defeated Vincent Spadea 6-4, 7-6 (5) in a rain-interrupted match.

Defending champion Nikolay Davydenko also went through to the next round defeating Ecuador's Nicolas Lapentti 6-4, 6-2.

Davydenko will now meet Juan Monaco of Argentina, who won 6-3, 6-1 against Michael Russell of the United States.
