IMA receives bomb threat, one arrested

Dehradun: One person has been arrested from Dehradun in connection with the bomb threat to the Indian Military Academy. Last week, on January 22, the IMA received a letter saying the institution would be blown up as the entire nation celebrated its 65th Republic Day on Sunday.

The arrested man claims that he was bullied into writing that letter over a land fued.

India's premier military academy, the Indian Military Academy, has been in the list of terror organisations and individuals for a long time.

Although there have not been any recorded attempts of harming the institution, Indian agencies security have been keeping a close eye to protect it from all possible attacks and threats.
