The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) declared the Karnataka SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) (Class 10) results 2024 on May 9 at 10.30 am. As many as 8 lakh candidates appeared for this exam including a mother-son duo named Jyothi TR and Nithin CB. They both have cleared this examination with Jyothi scoring 250 and Nithin getting 582 marks.
As per reports, Jyothi is pursuing her education at the B Siddanayya High School in Ballupet, Hassan. On the other hand, Nithin is completing her education at Viveka Convent, Ballupet. The mother-son duo hails from the Chinnahalli village located in Sakleshpur taluka of Hassan district. Jyothi has attempted the exam for the second time.
Bhuvanesh, Jyothi’s husband and Nithin’s father is overjoyed at this joyous occasion. He owns a bakery shop in the Chinnahalli village and celebrated the passing of his wife and son.
In a similar incident, another mother-son duo had appeared to attempt the SSLC examination. Reportedly, 32-year-old Gangamma and her son Mallikarjuna who are residents of the Sagara village attempted the exam at their examination centre in Shahapur taluk this year. Their results are not known currently.
The Karnataka Board had administered the SSLC exam between March 25 and April 6. Meanwhile, practical and oral examinations for JTS students were conducted on April 8. Differently, abled candidates were given one hour of extra time for 3 hour-long exams and 40 minutes of extra time for a two-hour-long exam.
The candidates can download their scorecard with these steps-
1. The students are required to click on the official website of KSEAB
2. They should then click on Karnataka SSLC result 2024 link
3. The participants are required to log in using the registration number
4. Their scorecard will be displayed
5. The candidates can download the scorecard for further reference
The KSEAB will also announce the dates for the SSLC supplementary exams soon. The supplementary exams, Exam 2 and Exam 3 allow students who have passed but wish to enhance their scores. They provide a chance for candidates to reappear for the exams.
