In Modi 3.0, Amit Shah, Jaishankar, Sitharaman, Rajnath Singh Retain Their Ministries | Check Full List
On Sunday, 71 ministers took oath as part of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Cabinet at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. Modi retained 34 ministers from his outgoing council of ministers, including 19 with Cabinet berths

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday allocated portfolios to ministers a day after taking oath at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. BJP appeared to have allocated the key ministries to its own members as Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, S Jaishankar, Nirmala Sitharaman, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Nitin Gadkari retained their portfolios.

The Modi 3.0 cabinet appeared to send a message of continuity by retaining the big names. Former chief minister of Karnataka and member of ally JD(S) HD Kumaraswamy was allotted a ministry. He will have Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a chief minister himself, as a colleague in the cabinet as the Madhya Pradesh veteran has been given the charge of agriculture and rural development ministries.
