Inquiry ordered against MLA

BANGALORE: The Special Lokayukta Court on Saturday directed the SP of Lokayukta police to investigate into a complaint filed against BJP MLA C T Ravi, accusing him of grabbing government land. The court directed the Lokayukta to submit their report on January 18, 2012. The court passed the order following a private complaint filed by Chikmagalur Councillor R Devi Prasad who alleged that civic amenity sites in Chikmagalur were allotted to Anjaneya Education Society in 2007, of which Ravi’s wife Pallavi was president.
