As the state assembly does not have a deputy speaker, the speaker will have to give his resignation letter to the Assembly Secretariat.
The Speaker had conducted the proceedings in the House on Thursday when the Hemant Soren-led government took the confidence vote and won. In his address to the House on Thursday, Singh had hinted at his resignation.
