Kannada Film Friday: Bodyguard, Madhuve Mane
It is going to be very important for veteran hero cum politician Jaggesh and Golden star Ganesh of 'Mungaru Malhe' fame.

New Delhi: This Friday will see two releases in Sandalwood (Kannada Cinema). It is going to be very important for veteran hero cum politician Jaggesh and Golden star Ganesh of Mungaru Malhe fame.

Jaggesh's previous film Double Decker did not do well in the box office. But he is touted as a minimum guarantee hero. It is a remake of Malayalam original Bodyguard featuring Dileep and Nayantara, not Salman Khan's Bodyguard in Hindi.

Ganesh's Madhuve Mane is based on the original script from a television serial director Sunilkumar Singh. Ganesh's earlier films Eno Onthara, home production Kool… Sakkath Hot Maga - the last two releases did not do well in the box office.He is now pinning his hopes on Maduve Mane.

With these two films, two new directors have entered Kannada cinema. Two Mumbai girls have also made their debut in Bodyguard and Madhuve Mane respectively.

Madhuve Mane producer Rehman is looking nervous. Because his earlier films failed and he lost crores of money. Producer K Manju is the distributor for this film.

Jaggesh, An ardent devotee of Sri Raghavendra Swamy of Mantralaya has produced is under the banner of Gururaja Films. He took the print for Pooja at Mantralaya before release.

Madhuve Mane by JJ International produced by Ruhina Rehman stars Ganesh, Shradda Arya, Avinash (Jugari) Tabla Nani, Sharan, Aravind, Hanumanthe Gowda, Nageshkumar KV, MNM Chitkala, Dr Nagesh, Hadhav Mysore, Chinna and others.

Sunilkumar Singh has penned the story, screenplay, dialogues for this film besides debuting as director. Shekar Chandru is the cameraman and Manikanth Khadri has scored the music.
