HYDERABAD: A 42-year-old person was murdered by his distant relative over property and family disputes at Trimulgherry on Sunday afternoon.The deceased, Gyaneshwar was a resident of Pedda Kamela under Trimulgherry police limits.Gyaneshwar earlier used to own a couple of autos and hired them to drivers. According to Trimulgherry police sub-inspector K Dasaradharami Reddy, Gyaneshwar was having disputes over financial matters with his distant cousin, Anil since the past few years.On Sunday around 3 p.m, the duo decided to meet at one of their relative, Kalamma's house in the same locality."During the meeting, both had an altercation and in a fit of rage, Anil attacked his brother with a knife and inflicted multiple stabs. Gyaneshwar died instantly,'' the SI said.Police said the duo were also having some disputes over family matters. Police said Anil came pre-planned and brought a knife. Trimulgherry police registered a murder case and are investigating.
