Several passengers were left stranded after fog disrupted flight services.
In this season's first fog shutdown at Kolkata airport, both domestic and international flights were hit overnight as visibility decreased drastically. Flight services resumed on Saturday morning.
While some flights were taking off and landing around 12 am, post 2 am flight operations were completely stalled due to visibility being less the 50 mts.

It was a foggy Saturday morning in Delhi too with the minimum temperature recorded at 6.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. Visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 500 metres while at 5.30 a.m. it was 400 metres.
