New Delhi: The junior team of Germany?s top football club, Bayern Munich is to play against local football club, Mohamadan Sporting at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on December 2.
The much-hyped match between the Germans and the Indians is the first semi-finals of this year?s IFA Shield.
Though all eyes are on the foreign side that is known for it?s excellent skills, it might not be easy to beat the local side, feel experts.
Head of German junior team, Werner Kern says, "To be honest, I am very sceptical because the ground in this stadium is not very good."
"Firstly, our boys are not used to these ground conditions and secondly the team we that we are facing on Friday is a smart one. They have experienced players and they are very skillful. They will fight for their life because they have a big motivation to beat Bayern Munich," Kern said.
