CHENNAI: Now, young Chennaiites looking for a career in the BPO industry have something to look forward to. They can do a short duration course for two months and get an assured placement in a leading BPO in India. Orion Edutech Pvt Ltd has launched a programme named ‘Orion FasTrack’ in Chennai where students will be trained in communication and other aspects and get placed in Firstsource Ltd, one of the leading BPOs in India. The fees for the course is `4,999. The candidates will get trained in the Orion campus during the first month. They will get an on-the-job training in Firstsource in the second month, and will be later absorbed by the company.The announcement was made at a media briefing by Somnath Banerjee, General Manager, Orion Edutech. “It’s one of the lowest priced courses we are offering,” he said.
