Man refuses booze, wife kills him

TIRUCHY: Furious over a man’s refusal to share liquor with her, his wife attacked him with a pestle and killed him at Manachanallur here on Wednesday. Sources said, Rajini (35) his second wife Ponni (30) and children were living in Narikurava Colony. Rajini used to hunt pigs and spend almost all the money on liquor. Since Ponni is also addicted to alcohol, the couple use to share liquor, the sources said.On Tuesday, Rajini bought liquor and did not share it with Ponni.This led to a quarrel. Later in the evening, Rajini went out to buy more liquor and returned late.Furious over the man’s refusal to share liquor, she took a pestle and allegedly hit him hard on his head, leading to his death.
