Minor raped in Cuttack, accused held

CUTTACK : A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at New LIC Colony under Badambadi Police Limits here on Friday. The youth has reportedly been apprehended after a complaint was registered in Mahila Police Station. According to reports, the youth, identified as Kalia (21) of the same locality, had lured the girl into a secluded place and allegedly committed the crime. The girl, who is studying in Class VII, confided in her parents immediately.  Badambadi Police rushed to the spot and the case was shifted to the Mahila Police Station.
