Mumbai Police bans drones, says terror attack likely before August 2
This comes a day after a drone was spotted flying over Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai on Monday. The police identified an Executive of Housing.com behind the incident.

Mumbai: The Mumbai police on Wednesday issued an order imposing a ban on flying activities of drones. The order also warned of a terror attack likely before August 2.

The police issued an order under section 144 of the CrPC in this regard. It stated that terrorists are likely to carry out an attack in Mumbai using para-gliders and remote-controlled micro light aircraft between July 4 and August 2.

This comes a day after a drone was spotted flying over Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai on Monday. The police identified an Executive of Housing.com behind the incident.

A TISS professor who was passing by noticed the drone and informed the police. The professor also recorded the incident and handed over video clips to the police.
