The Department of Culture, government of AP in association with the AP State Film, TV and Theatre Development Corporation, among other organisations, is conducting the seventh edition of Abhinaya 2012, a national theatre festival, from August 16 to 19 at Ravindra Bharathi. The itinerary is as follows:
August 16, Thursday
Dhyaas (Pune) present a Marathi play, The Last Colour by Shrikanth Bhide at 6:30 pm
August 17, Friday
Natakashala (Vizianagaram) present a street play in Telugu at 5:30 pm
Purbaranga (Guwhati) present an Assamese play, Veerangana, at 6:30 pm
August 18, Saturday
A Telugu street play at 5:30pm
Prasanga (Bengaluru) present Anabhigna Shaakuntala, a Kannada play, at 6:30 pm
August 19, Sunday
Banian Repertory theatre (Imphal) present Kumudini, a Manipuri play at 6 pm
Sangama Kalavider (Manipal) present Karnabhara, a Tulu play, at 7:30 pm
