NBW issued against Sadhu Yadav
Non bailable warrant has been issued against RJD MP Aniruidh Yadav alias Sadhu Yadav in the multi crore flood relief scam.

Patna: Aniruddh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav, the high-profile RJD Lok Sabha member from Gopalganj and brother of former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi, is in for major trouble with a vigilance court issuing a non-bailable warrant of arrest against him in the multi-crore rupees flood relief scam.

The NBW, issued by the Special Judge (Vigilance) RN Prasad, on the application of the Vigilance Bureau, is the first against a politician in the scam which came to light last year.

"I can assure you that there are proper and sufficient evidences on basis of which vigilance dept has obtained this warrant," IG (Administartion), Patna Police Anil Kumar Sinha said.

Additional Director General of Vigilance Neelmani said copies of the NBW had been faxed to the Delhi police commissioner, DGPs of all states, besides all zonal IGs, DIGs and SPs of Bihar requesting them to cooperate in ensuring the MP's arrest.

Director General of CISF, which provides security to airports, has also been alerted to prevent the MP from fleeing the country.

The secretary general of the Lok Sabha was also being informed, he said.

Neelmani claimed that the Vigilance Bureau had sufficient evidence to prove the charge that Sadhu Yadav had allegedly received 'ill gotten money 'from the supplier of relief materials and alleged kingpin of the fraud Santosh Kumar Jha, who is in judicial custody.

Sadhu Yadav was said to be away in Delhi and could not be contacted on his mobile phone which was switched off.

Sadhu Yadav was quizzed by the bureau about his links with Santosh Jha and other accused in the scam on December 12 last year.
