New Delhi: Google has finally made its much-awaited Nexus 7 tablet, with 16GB of storage space, available for Indian consumers via its Google Play (India) store.
The tablet is available for sale on Google Play for Rs 15,999. However, the website lists that the tablet will be shipped by April 5, 2013. Shipping will be calculated at checkout.
The Nexus 7 has a 7-inch Back-lit IPS HD display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels at 216 ppi. The screen is said to be covered with a scratch-resistant corning glass. The device has a 1.2 megapixel front camera. Weighing 340g, the tablet has 16 GB internal storage and 1GB RAM.
The Google Nexus 7 is powered by a 4325 mAH battery which is claimed to give up to 8 hours of active use. It runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Its connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and NFC (Android Beam).
