KOCHI: In the wake of the incident on Wednesday night when a girl was eve-teased on Cusat campus while returning to hostel, the Cusat officials and police officials have decided to tighten police night patrolling on the campus.In a meeting held between the Cusat officials, student representatives and City Police Commissioner on Thursday, it was decided to tighten the security and deploy additional police squad for night patrolling on the campus.Vice-Chancellor Ramachandran assured that the bushes in the campus will be cleared and faulty streetlights will be rectified. The Vice-Chancellor also promised the student representatives that changes would be brought into the current security system and review of the system will be held in the meeting held every month.
