The authorities of the Kerala State Co-operative Consumers Federation Ltd said that the sale at the Onam-Ramzan fair has crossed Rs 62 crore. The highest sale has been registered in Thrissur district- Rs 5.86 cr.
The fair, offering discounts to more than 18 items, had commenced on July 1 and will conclude on August 28.
Thiruvananthapuram has the maximum number of Onam-Ramzan trade fairs- 435. An amount of Rs 40.86 cr has been collected from 14 district trade fairs, Rs 15.34 cr from the subsidy counters of the Triveni supermarkets and Rs 5.37 cr from the Nanma stores, said Consumerfed president Joy Thomas, and MD Riji G Nair.
