Paes-Bhupathi bow out of China Open

Beijing: Indian tennis duo of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi crashed out of the men's doubles event of the China Open on Friday after losing to Croats Marin Cilic and Ivan Ljubicic in straight sets in the quarter-finals.

The fourth-seeded 'Indian Express', who had won the Beijing title in 1997, went down to their opponents without posing much of a fight, to lose 2-6, 3-6.

Cilic and Ljubicic will next take on Robert Lindstedt of Sweden and Horia Tecau of Romania.

Paes and Bhupathi have bagged three ATP doubles championships so far this season.
