BANGALORE: Taking strong objection for blaming the union government of adopting delay tactics in enacting the Lokpal Bill, union law minister Veerappa Moily on Saturday said that parliamentary procedures cannot be sabotaged due to the urgency of some people.Speaking to reporters here Moily said that the government was committed to bring a strong Lokpal Bill and the draft of the Bill would be ready by June 30.However, it should be passed through the parliamentary procedure before it becomes an Act.“The Bill should be approved by the Cabinet, Parliament Standing Committee and the Parliament,” he said.Claiming that there was consensus among civil society members and the representatives of the government on most of the issues, Moily said that the government had an open mind for talks on issues pertaining to the Lokpal Bill.But talks should happen within the committee and not outside, he added.Lashing out at BJP for criticising the UPA government over black money and corruption issues, Moily accused the BJP leaders of trying to become heroes in the eyes of people though they did nothing during the NDA regime. Ugrappa Seeks Details on RSS, VHP AccountsBANGALORE: Accusing the RSS and Sangh Pariwar outfits of being the prime creators of black money in the country, state Congress spokesman V S Ugrappa demanded the outfits to make public the accounts of the funds it collected from people time to time. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Ugrappa said that the RSS had been collecting donations from public on the occasion of Guru Purnima since its inception in 1925.Similarly, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad collected funds to the tunes of several hundred crores during Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
