TIRUPUR: A powerloom owner was murdered near Mangalam on Tuesday. His body thrown into a well after being tied with a heavy stone. Two persons, including a business rival, was arrested. Palakkarai-based Palanisamy, who has a powerloom unit and his kin Karthikeyan, reportedly invited Ravichandran of Vellachettipalayam near Mangalam to have liquor and strangled him using a lungi, the police said.
